This is one of my articles in the magazine....Posting it here as a blog....
Can we learn from Children?Yes…though they look like small devils, children are angels.Unknowingly they help us to explore a lot of things in life.As adults we think “we know all”.Its surprising to note that a few observations can change our whole thought….
Have you seen kids when they wake up in the morning? They stretch like a cat.Stretch one arm…another arm…fingers …arch your back…flex your toes. This is a great way to wakenup your muscles and get them ready for the day.
Laugh aloud.Children do not care about people around. If they find something funny ,they just laugh their heart out and enjoy. Its not something wrong to laugh to your content and enjoy the situation.Laugh at anything you find funny no matter how silly it is !!!Good for your health.
Cry aloud….Now this is a stress buster. No vouching required for this.Every child cries her heart out even for the smallest thing. But the next moment its out of her mind.Exactly…cry without shame. You are out of the distress the next moment!!!
Enjoy simple stuff.Have you seen kids face lighten up with the smallest of the things.Chocolate,pencil,balloons,ball….silliest things bring joy to them.We should also learn to derive pleasure from silly stuff.Try to live in the “NOW”.This will help you bounce back.
Learn to forgive and forget.Get curious and learn from quirky things.Go and play outside.Breathe fresh Air.
Who said kids learn parents….There is always the other way around !!!!
yeah rite... i especially admit on the point "forgive & forget", i love the way children fight with their friends for silliest things "dai - idhu yen bat, hey yen pencil dhaan super", but they make / take these fights in the right way... and also they forget & forgive in a fraction. Just unegoistic............. we give up all these good qualities when we grow up. This was aptly conveyed in the movie "pasanga" too.
True Anu...if we r able to implement evena little bit of it, i think we can make wonders...u know what, when we are kids, we wanna grow up....and when we grow up we wanna be kids again....better enjoy every moment possible...instead of finding reasons...
Do kids say, i will laugh only if there is a reason...don they cry without any valid reason...romba alasi aarayama irunthomna life beautiful a irukkum....
very well written. Perhaps this is what was taught by Lord Muruga.
No matter how old the person is, if we can identify the special appreciable quality , we will adopt them. God has created all goodness in kids for adults to acquire.I would say your writeup is well summerized and crisp. You can definitely go to bed with immense satisfaction for having written something very nice to every one's satisfaction.
Tks Poornima...u made my day...and I wrote this article long back...only now I thot of sharing with chennaimoms....if u really like it, vote for it as well !!!
done..happy?..don't actually believe voting....as most of the times good articles go unnoticed if the response is poor and would also demotivate the writer..
good write up.... .. we have to move forward without taking things too close to our heart.... even if the children are hurt by any wound also they will cry for the moment and immediately rush to play with their friends...they don't have ego problems....they lead a simple life...
